The countdown has begun! One month from today, our family will be setting off to Namibia for an authentic African safari!  Given all the questions we’ve received, I thought it would be interesting to post this Namibia infographic that takes a look at some of the more interesting facts about the country, including that it is home to the biggest single piece of meteor on Earth and that its total land mass is equal to the combined total land mass of Spain and Germany.

Our family-friendly itinerary will take us through just some of Namibia’s beautiful and diverse areas. As we chose to stay in accommodations that are accredited with Namibia’s Eco Awards or have outstanding community-based tourism and/or wildlife conservation credentials, we are feeling assured that the trip will not only be a visually beautiful experience but one that will have a long-lasting impact on the local environment, people and yourself.
