The company specializes in conservation and educational projects throughout Costa Rica. Through its wide research and detailed analysis, the company has developed varied community and organizational projects, covering a large variety of conservation topics and sustainable development practices. To improve communities’ internal processes, the company offers knowledge to projects, organizations and communities that want and need to take action in sustainable tourism practices to be part of the sustainable development in Costa Rica. Lastly, the company works with members of the community to assure integrated and long-lasting concepts and continuous improvements; including social responsibility.

Day 1 - Arrival into San Jose (D)

You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your eco hotel in Alajuela, which includes a typical Costa Rican dinner.  Day at leisure

Day 2 - Poas Volcano National Park (B,L,D)

This morning after breakfast, you will depart with a bilingual guide to our the Poas Volcano National Park, including a tour of InBio Nature Park.  After the tour, you will relax at your eco hotel.

Day 3 - Volunteer Work with Macaws (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Rescue Center, where you will visit and support the project dedicated to the conservation of macaws native to Costa Rica.  The main focus of the project is the Scarlat Macaw (Ara macao) and the Great Green Macaw (Ara Ambiguus).  The volunteer work will consist of fruit cutting for the animals, feeding, cleaning, gardening, compiling tourist information and general work around the center.

Day 4 - Volunteer Work & Travel to Manuel Antonio National Park (B,L,D)

After your morning volunteering, you will be transferred to your eco lodge near Manuel Antonio National Park   What immediately strikes you about he lodge is just how much you become a part of the exotic environment and how comfortable you are being this close to nature.  There is no need for a television here!

Day 5 - Manuel Antonio National Park & Turtle Conservation Volunteer Work (B,D)

Afer breakfast, you will depart with a bilingual guide for a nature hike through Manuel Antonio National Park.  Then, you will visit the Sea Turtle program and help support their efforts in beach cleaning, hatchery work and night patrol.

Day 6 - Nauyaka Waterfalls and Horseback Riding (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you will embark on a fun tour for the entire family where you will visit Nauyaka Waterfalls, which are one of the main attractions of the southern region of Costa Rica. Tonight, you will stay an eco hotel that offers ocean and rainforest view cabins.  The lodge is made from sustainably harvested wood and local materials to balance comfort with impact on the environment.

Day 7 - Whale and Dolphin Encounter (B)

After breakfast, you will tour with a bilingual guide to spot whales and dolphins.  Around the Osa Peninsula and Marino Ballena, you will be visiting one of the world's top 10 places to spot such wildlife.  You will also have time to dip into the crystal clear waters and snorkel.

Day 8 - Indigenuous Visit (B,L,D)

Today, we will switch gears to learn about the Boruca Indigenuous people's history and way of life. You will join in on a workshop of mask carving and painting as well as visit their museum.  Later, you will transfer to your eco lodge.

Day 9 - Hiking & Birding (B)

After breakfast, you will enjoy a guided birdwatching tour in the Nature Reserve and try to spot the stars of the area, such as the Resplendent Quetzals.  This eveing, transfer back to Alajuela.

Day 10 - Departure (B)

Transfer back to to the airport with many memories of Costa Rica.
